About the Ranch

All activities taking place for the Tatanka Music Festival can be enjoyed within the sprawling grounds of Tatanka Ranch. Come enjoy the music, take part in festival activities and embrace the spirit of Oklahoma in this amazing, one-day festival!

General Information

  • Tatanka Ranch is home to wildlife in the area - please be aware and throw away all food waste in proper receptacles so as not to attract wildlife or pollute their environment.
  • Tatanka Ranch houses a small herd of buffalo off festival grounds. Please avoid the buffalo habitat, as any attempt to interact with the Buffalo may result in serious harm.
  • Festival grounds are clearly marked with signs within the grounds, as well as within the festival map. Once you leave festival grounds, you will not be permitted to re-enter.
  • Food and beverages will be available for purchase within the festival grounds. Free water will also be available.

Parking

The parking lot opens for show parking 2 hours before the festival starts. We recommend arriving early to avoid traffic and ensure close parking to the venue. Vehicles parked incorrectly or left overnight (not relocated prior to 10 a.m. the following day) may be ticketed or towed.

Driving Directions (From OKC)

Tatanka Ranch is located between Oklahoma City and Tulsa off the Turner Turnpike (I-44). Take the Chandler Exit from the Turner Turnpike. Travel North (Left) onto Highway 18 approximately 8.2 miles to 810 Road. (There is a blue Tatanka Ranch Highway Sign just before 810 Road). Turn East (Right) onto 810 Road and drive approximately 4 miles to 3480 Road. (3480 road is a dirt road and there is a Tatanka Ranch Sign Located on the Southwest corner of the intersection of 810 and 3480 Roads). Turn South (Right) onto 3480 road and continue approximately 1.5 miles. The entrance to the ranch is on the west (Right) side of the road.

Take highway 105 east to highway 18 (about 30 miles). Turn South on Highway 18 and follow 18 South to 810 Rd (There is a blue Tatanka Ranch Highway Sign just before 810 Road). Turn East (left) onto 810 Road and drive approximately 4 miles to 3480 Road. (3480 road is a dirt road and there is a Tatanka Ranch Sign Located on the Southwest corner of the intersection of 810 and 3480 Roads). Turn South (Right) onto 3480 road and continue approximately 1.5 miles. The entrance to the ranch is on the west (Right) side of the road.

Take highway 177 South to Perkins and turn left (east) onto 33. Take 33 to Highway 18 South. Turn right (South) on highway 18. Follow 18 South to 810 Rd (There is a blue Tatanka Ranch Highway Sign just before 810 Road). Turn East (left) onto 810 Road and drive approximately 4 miles to 3480 Road. (3480 road is a dirt road and there is a Tatanka Ranch Sign Located on the Southwest corner of the intersection of 810 and 3480 Roads). Turn South (Right) onto 3480 road and continue approximately 1.5 miles. The entrance to the ranch is on the west (Right) side of the road.

Take highway 18 North through Chandler. Continue following highway 18 North (8.2 miles north of the turner turnpike (I-44)) to 810 Road. (There is a blue Tatanka Ranch Highway Sign just before 810 Road). Turn East (Right) onto 810 Road and drive approximately 4 miles to 3480 Road. (3480 road is a dirt road and there is a Tatanka Ranch Sign Located on the Southwest corner of the intersection of 810 and 3480 Roads). Turn South (Right) onto 3480 road and continue approximately 1.5 miles. The entrance to the ranch is on the west (Right) side of the road.

Take highway 99 North of Stroud to 810 Rd and turn Left (west) on 810 Rd (810 Rd is a dirt road and will turn paved just before you get to the Tatanka Ranch Sign). Take 810 Rd to 3480 (3480 road is a dirt road and there is a Tatanka Ranch Sign Located on the Southwest corner of the intersection of 810 and 3480 Roads). Turn South (Left) onto 3480 road and continue approximately 1.5 miles. The entrance to the ranch is on the west (Right) side of the road.

Start your day early on the mother road! If you’re driving from Oklahoma City or Tulsa, Route 66 is a great way to experience Oklahoma history on your way to Oklahoma’s greatest country music fest. Stop by the famous Blue Whale in Catoosa, visit the Arcadia’s landmark, the Old Round Barn, and grab a photo op at POPS!
